Earlier this week, as I sat at a traffic light watching the red, yellow, and green signals ahead along with a railway crossing light flashing to warn of an approaching train; the Holy Spirit began to speak to my heart. I realized that these everyday signals exist for one purpose: to protect life. They regulate movement, prevent collisions, and keep chaos from overtaking the roads. In the same way, God uses His Word and His voice to guide His children, offering divine signals that help us navigate life safely and wisely. A red light is God’s loving “stop,” His way of protecting us from unseen danger, reminding us that “there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12).
