Natalie Grant sang a song title “Your Great Name”. At the name of Jesus the enemy has to leave, and Son of God and Man you are higher and lifted up, all the world will praise your great name. She called Jesus Son of God and Man. To really understand the deep meaning of Son of God and Son of Man we need to have understanding of nature and characteristics of God and Man.

                        Characteristics of God
He is the creator of the created Gen 1:1
He is all knowing and the  Alpha and Omega  Rev 1:8  Jer 3:3
He can do all things and nothing is impossible for Him Luke 1:37
He is unlimited Job 42:2  ,Ps 78:41
He does anything He likes Job 37:12-13
        He is unquestionable
God is a Spirit and nobody knows the numbers of His year  Job 36:26
God is the judge  Job 36:39 and Job 37:23
God is not afraid or fearful Job 40:22
God cannot be condemned Job 40: 8
God will not faint, weary, tired, sleep, slumber, hungry or thirsty Ps121: 4-5
God's wisdom, understanding, love and knowledge cannot be fathom
The food of God is praise and thanksgiving  Ps 50: 12-14
      God operates in faith

            Characteristics of Man
            Man is the created
Man does not know the beginning or the ending of himself or situations
            Man is limited
Man can be affected by situation which can make him to be fearful, faithless, limited,
hindered, unreasonable, cries, tired and weary.
Man can be hungry, thirsty Matt 21:18
Man's level of understanding, wisdom, love and knowledge is limited
            Man must sleep  Luke 8:22-24

In view of this understanding, Jesus came to this world as the Son of God and as the Son of Man. He operated as God and Man. He showed us that He is God and as God, He came to dwell among us so that He can experience what it is to be a man. He came and He was able to have victory over the flesh and world. Therefore, we do not have excuse as man. There are many examples in the scripture where Jesus shows himself as the  Son of man:

1.    After fasting for 40 days and 40 nights, He was hungry  Luke 4:2 in comparison with God He doesn't eat His food is praises, worship and thanksgiving.

2.    When He met the Samaritan women at the well the bible stated that Jesus was weary because of His journey. Luke 4: 6 while God is never weary rather He gives strength and power to the weak.
3.   There was a time he slept on the boat and storm was beating aganist the boat Mark 4:38 but God will not sleep or slumber, He watches over us.
4.   He wept at the tomb of Lazarus His friend Jh 10:35 but God wipe away tears Isaiah 25:8
5.    They question Jesus on many occasion  such as should will pay tax to Caesar Matt 22:15-22
6.     He does not have a place to lay His head  Matt 8:20
7.     He does not have money to pay for His tax  Matt 17: 24-27 while God says silver and gold are mine. Haggai 2:8
8.    They called Him Mary and Joseph's  son,  a Nazarite and nothing good can come out of Nazareth John 1:46 while God is a spirit he doesn't have a father and mother.

9.     He prayed and cried when He saw the death He will go through and He wanted to reject the will of God but He later changed His prayer to let your will be done. He was also tempted Matt 26:42
10.   On the cross He asked God why do you want to forsake Him
11.   On the cross, He asked for water because He was thirsty Matt 25: 35
12.    A lot of people were offended by Him, the Pharisee and Saducee because of the doctrine He brought was different Matt 11:6

The acts of the son of God

    1. He walked on the sea
    2. He rebuked the storm and the wind
    3. He turned water into wine
   4. He rose from the dead on the third day
  5. He came to the world through the Holy Spirit
  6. He has authority over sin, death, sickness and diseases.
  7. He multiply food two loaves of bread and five fishes. He demonstrated His ability of provision.
  8. He knew Peter will deny Him while Judas will betrayed Him
  9. he humbled Himself to the death on the cross
 10. He could not be stopped by death, problem, hunger and thirst
 11. He prayed and is sweat was compared to  blood
 12. He commanded the demon to leave the man of Gadarenes Mark 5: 8
 13.  He demonstrated His creative ability by spitting on a clay and rubbed on the eye of the man that  was born blind  John 9: 6-7 and fixes the ear of the high priest servant when they came to arrest Him Luke22:50-51.
14.              He knew what will happen in future so He told us that He will send Holy Spirit to be our helper, guidance, counselor, teacher and comforter. When Lazarus died He knew what will happen that Lazarus is going to the raised up from the dead. He decided to tarry four more days  before going to Bethel. When the woman with issue of blood touched Him and got her healing, He knew immediately that power has gone out of Him.
15.     He demonstrated Godly wisdom when they came to ask Him unreasonable questions about paying taxes to Caesar.Matt22:15-21
He came as son of man so that He can experience how it is to be a man, He was angry man times and beat up people that were trading in the temple. Yet He sin not. We many times He was hungry and could not find anything to eat. He went through all these so that we will not have any excuse because problem, hunger, trouble are not issues with God so we are without excuse. God demanded we be sons of God because that is who we are and if so, we should live in the spirit so that we will not fulfill the lost of the flesh.

BEING A CHRISTIAN!!!

Being a Christian is a walk of faith

The wind is blowing, is blowing on all

For some is fierce, for some is mild

It comes in season, and out of season

It shakes the ground that holds your belief

Being a Christian, is a call to stand

Temptations will come, trials will abound

It touches the weak, it shakes the strong

You start to wonder, is this God real?

But His grace is there to keep you going

Being a Christian is not in words, but a call to action,

With A willing heart, to serve the Lord and to honor His ways

To trust in Him, Acknowledging Him, in all your ways

Being a Christian is not a dogma…It’s not in fashion, but a spiritual journey, that leads to life…
A conscious walk with God each day, seeking His ways with a heart that’s pure…open to Instruction!

Knowing His grace is always there to strengthen your heart when your heart is weak…To keep you going in the will of God!

What is Your Expectation?

"And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise." Phil 4:8

Our expectations for the day usually begin in the morning. When you wake up, be conscious of the statements you're making and the thoughts you're choosing about the day ahead. Changing your outlook and expectation can change your experience.

This isn't to say that everything will always turn out how we expect it to. But remember,  God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. The question you should ask yourself today is - "do I love God?" If the answer is yes, have a good expectation!

"But how? I have all these problems, work, concerns, and so on" Yes, that may be true - you may have a valid reason to be grumpy and sad, but hey, think again...it could be worst! Look around you, and get past yourself a little; there is always a reason to be thankful!!!

Our expectations significantly shape how we live – the richness, the light, the lessons, and the joy. So, when creating a great life, be sure to add high-quality, positive expectations to your happiness toolbox. Expect awesomeness. Expect fantastic experiences. Expect an amazing, joyful life, and it will be in Jesus' Name!
