We are an organization that serves Women and their families through our Teaching, Intercessory Prayers, Missions and Outreach ministries.

Statement of Faith

We believe in:

1. The Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and the person of the Holy Spirit as one. 1 John 5:7

2. Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 1:5

3. New testament biblical practices of the Holy communion, washing of the feet, sprinkling of the Blood. John 13:3-8, Acts 19:11-12, John 13:3-8.

4. The manifestation of God's power through signs and wonders, Luke 9:1, 1 Corin 2:4, Isaiah 8:18.

5. The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through his shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God, the Father and in His personal return to earth in power and glory.

6. The Infallibility of the Holy Scriptures, the Bible as the final authority in all matters of doctrine, conducts relative to daily living.

7. The administration of spiritual gifts led by the Spirit for the edification of the church of God. 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

8. The personal return of Jesus Christ, the eternal damnation in a literal hell for the wicked and everlasting life with the living God for the righteous.

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold i come and I will dwell in your midst, declare the Lord" Zechariah 2:10.

Community Care

In addition to prayers and lending a listening ear,  Daughters of Zion, A Ministry of Excellence are also committed to helping individuals and families who are currently facing difficult times with basic needs and when available, financial assistance.  See bottom of page for a list of  free items to be picked up locally.

From time to time, we all need a little assistance and the Lord has ways of sending helpers to us when we are going through tough times, for it could be in the form of a friend, neighbor, relative, local church, government assistance or non-profit organization (christian or secular).  However way He does it, we should not look at it as a hand out but a help out in times of trouble.

I remember years ago,  my family and I were passing through some really tough times in our lives and i tell you, but for the power of the Holy Spirit who kept us strengthened and encouraged, i do not know how we would have made it.  His words says in Psalm 50:15 " that we should call upon him in the day of trouble and He will deliver us and we shall glorify him .  And the Lord heard our prayers, and in a miraculous way, he started sending helpers to us, God showed us favor with our landlord who didnt take rent from us for a couple of months, He sents us helpers to bless us with food, I mean bulks of food, not too long after that, I was able to secure a very good job and so did my husband.  It was awesome, we glorified the Lord for His faithfulness. His words says "He is our Jehovah Jireh (our provider). Since then we have always "paid it forward" by blessing others with the much He has given us as led by His Spirit and  I want to encourage us women to get in the habit of giving.  When we were passing through those trying times, I remembered prior to that time , how much my husband loved to give to others in need, he was a giver and so was I but not as much as my husband was. I believe the Lord remembered that and coupled with our prayers, He intervened almost immediately in our situation.  Sisters, develop the habit of giving, be it your financial resources, your time or in kind.   Prov 31:20  It is His will for us to lend a helping hand to those in need.. and there is a reward for giving. Luke 6: 38.  Its not until you have loads of money before you can do so, there are many ways you can be of assistance to those in need e.g In-kind donations of basic needs, i.e food, clothing, toiletries, monetary gifts to individuals or charity and christian organizations that provide for the homeless and the needy. Also through your time (volunteering) at local shelters, food banks, local church welfare ministry  etc. Matt 14:13-21

We, at Daughters of Zion have put together a resource list of  some ministries & organizations that are of assistance to those in need.  If you know of anyone that needs any of the assistance listed below, please direct them to this page or forward the information to them and we would appreciate if you leave us a comment to tell us if these resource list was helpful to you or someone you know.  Thank you.
